A Canadian whose doorbell rang mysteriously in the middle of the day, identified the culprit as . . . a squirrel.

Checking doorbell-camera footage, the Laval, Quebec, homeowner saw the intruder first rooting for scraps in a garbage can outside his door.

Then, he posted online, “Would you believe the squirrel rang the doorbell with his nose while sniffing around?”

An elephant, meanwhile, had its own moment of fame, climbing a five-foot-high wall in a Zambia park in search of wild mangoes.

Video of the middle-aged male’s sprightly escape from South Luangwa National Park has gone viral even though the mission failed.

The beast ate dome grass before returning back over the wall, since mangoes are out of season.

Dan Hill was doing laps in the gym’s pool in Sandy, Utah, at around midnight when workers closed and left, stranding him inside.

Hill called police. While waiting to be sprung, he posted selfies calling for help at the pool and in the empty gym, among rows of workout equipment.

“Free at last!” he posted at 1 a.m. when finally rescued.

A South African man is attempting to crush his own bizarre world record — for living in a wine barrel mounted atop a pole.

In 1997, Vernon Kruger, then 29, spent 67 days in a 500-liter wine barrel on a pole in the town of Dullstroom.

Kruger now is “barreling” toward a new record by Jan. 20. “This will be a day of celebration,” he wrote on a Facebook page documenting the attempt.

A Texas dog needed emergency surgery after it ate a metal fork.

The pooch named Chemo was so excited when offered a piece of pumpkin pie on a fork, he ate the fork, too, his owner said.

“I’m so excited the vet was able to save my best friend,” the owner said.
