Obama’s Appalling Role In the Flimsy Flynn Case
Both Miranda Devine’s (“Flynn fiasco has O desperate,” May 11) and Mollie Hemingway’s (“Obama meeting behind corrupt probe,” May 11) columns are real eye-openers.
They should be a wake-up call to all those who resisted the idea that President Barack Obama and his corrupt minions tried to stymie and take down the duly elected President Trump, both before and throughout his presidency.
They, and unscrupulous and corrupt media, were complicit in this attempted coup. Some Republicans also sat back and did nothing. All these players must be held accountable.
The left is so consumed by a white-hot hatred of Trump. That hatred was fostered by the former administration, led by Obama. Rosemarie Tipaldo

Was Devine describing an intrigue-filled Netflix political drama? No, but her chapter-by-chapter recount of the attempted coup against Trump sure sounds like one.
In spite of the efforts of pro-Obama federal agencies, as well as the mainstream media that are allied against him, Trump survives.

Heads need to roll, figuratively. The government is too large and too dangerous. What Obama and his staff have done only proves that the government can’t be trusted.
If this can be done against a newly elected president, imagine what can be done to you. Someone better get to the bottom of this.
Clearly the Democratic Party, many “establishment” Republicans and other government officials are all corrupt. The damage done to our country will be felt for many years to come.

So now we know Obama knew about the setup that the FBI was going to initiate on Flynn.
It looks like Obama is circling the wagons so all his people are on the same page. But what could they possibly offer, since the transcripts don’t lie?
The president needs to let Attorney General William Barr handle this and just concentrate on the upcoming election.
We have to reelect the president and take back the House.

I hope Americans are not as stupid as our liberal news agencies and politicians like to think.
The Obama administration did more to take away Americans’ rights (consider the IRS spying on conservative organizations) and subvert the rule of law than any other administration.
Now Obama has the nerve to say Trump’s administration is not respecting the rule of law by dropping the case against Flynn, who was entrapped. If this lie wasn’t so scary, it would be laughable.
Questioning Barr’s integrity is just another way to divert attention from the need for further investigation.
Americans, do you want to elect Joe Biden and continue with this flagrant abuse of our laws and people’s rights, or do you continue to support Trump, so we can get to the bottom of this deep-state swamp?
Obama’s administration had eight years to corrupt our country. Let’s give Trump his eight years. Our country needs this. Joanne Mirone

“Absolutely disgraceful” is the only way to describe Team Obama and the media.
The FBI decided to start an unwarranted investigation of a citizen, because it didn’t like his politics. Elected officials in power condoned it, and the media swore by it.
And 3 ¹/2 years later, the fiasco is still consuming our energy in the midst of a pandemic.

In the Flynn case, the FBI used its legitimate authority not to investigate previous crimes, but to manufacture new crimes. This is Stalinesque.
Justice should not be a weapon to bludgeon political foes but a tool to free the wrongfully accused and indicted.
