NFL: Giants vs. Jets opens preseason

No one knows if the NFL preseason will go off as scheduled, but if it does, Joe Judge will make his head coaching debut with the Giants Aug. 13 at 7:30 p.m. against the Jets in a game designated as a Giants road game at MetLife Stadium.

Based on this date, the earliest the teams can open training camp is July 29, with players reporting, and July 30 for the first practice session.

The full Giants preseason schedule: Aug. 13 at Jets, 7:30 p.m., Aug. 22 at Titans, 8 p.m., Aug. 29 vs. Packers, 8 p.m. and Sept. 3 vs. Patriots, 7 p.m.

The full Jets preseason schedule: Aug. 13 vs. Giants, 7:30 p.m., Aug. 20 at Lions, 8 p.m., Aug. 28 vs. Steelers, 7:30 p.m, and Sept. 3 at Eagles, 7:30 p.m.
