- Vincent Barone, Wires

The woman arrested for allegedly burning down an Atlanta Wendy’s as retribution for the police killing of Rayshard Brooks was his “girlfriend,” her lawyer said Tuesday.

Brooks referred to Natalie White, 29, as his “girlfriend” dur- ing the June 12 traffic stop that preceded his death, bodycam footage shows.

White (inset) turned herself in Tuesday after a warrant was issued for her arrest.

“[White and Brooks] were close friends,” the lawyer, Drew Findling, told The Post, confirming that White was the woman to whom Brooks referred in the bodycam video.

Findling said White was distraught over Brooks’ death but was “absolutely not responsible for the fire,” saying the blaze was already underway when she was seen on video approaching the restaurant.

Brooks was married to Tomika Miller.

Findling declined to comment further on Brooks’ relationship with White “out of respect to the Brooks family, who had a funeral today and is grieving the loss of Rayshard Brooks.”

Scores of mourners Tuesday paid their respects to Brooks at an Atlanta church.

Miller, dressed in white, sat surrounded by family and friends, including former state lawmaker Stacey Abrams and Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms.

Most people dressed all in white, while some wore T-shirts with Brooks’ picture. Nearly everyone had masks on against the coronavirus.

Brooks’ killing on June 12 came amid weeks of turbulent protests over George Floyd’s death at the hands of a a white Minneapolis cop on May 25. In the aftermath of Brooks’ death, the Atlanta police chief resigned and two officers were charged.
