Principal prey

Harass suit vs. woman

- By KATHIANNE BONIELLO

This married Queens mother wasn’t hot for teacher, she was hot for principal, a lawsuit claims.

Elizabeth Baltzis’ efforts to woo the married schoolmaster of Saint Demetrios School in Astoria, Anastasios Koularmanis, allegedly included showing up in his office in tight, revealing outfits and “removing articles of her clothing”; telling him she’d just gotten waxed and asking “if he wanted to see”; stalking him in the parking lot; and sending reams of “highly sexual” text messages to him and his wife.

Koularmanis, in a Manhattan Supreme Courtsuit he filed against the woman, the school community and others, said he often asked staffers to stay in his office with him to keep an eye on Baltzis, or sent them to meet her in the parking lot to distract her. But his complaints to school authorities fell on deaf ears because Baltzis’ husband, Konstantine, was a member of the parish council, according to court papers.

The principal says when he told parish council member Gerasimos Asprogerakas

about the aggressive mom, Asprogerakas said the board could fire him.

When he told Elizabeth Baltzis to stay away from his office unless she had an appointment, she threatened she would “ruin your career, your marriage and your life,” according to court papers.

The Greek drama soon became the subject of an “ugly and malicious” campaign in a local blog to ruin his rep, according to the principal’s suit.

The principal claims he was forced to resign in January.

Konstantine Baltzis, speaking for his wife, called the suit’s allegations “spurious.”

“None of this stuff is true . . . There is not a shred of evidence to support the claims,” he said.
