Naya Rivera’s ex-husband Ryan Dorsey reunited with his 4-year-old son, Josey, for the first time since the “Glee” star vanished from the California lake where she had been boating with the boy — as investigators probed what happened Friday.

The 36-year-old actor, who has joint custody of Josey after his divorce from Rivera in June 2018, was visibly upset earlier in the day, saying he had to care for his son before declining to answer questions, the Daily Mail reported.
Meanwhile, family and friends of Rivera — who is presumed dead — said they are in total “disbelief” and that “nobody has heard anything.”
“Everybody is in a waitand-see pattern and trying to figure out exactly what happened,” a source close to the 33-year-old actress told People magazine. “Everybody is in disbelief.”
The pal saw Rivera just a few weeks ago, and described her as “happy, busy . . . just kind of living life.”
On Wednesday, a woman called 911 to report that a child wearing a life jacket had been found floating alone on the boat, according to a recording of the call released by the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office on Thursday.
The former “Glee” star’s protective vest was left sitting inside the boat, officials said.
The boy later told authorities that he and his mother had gone swimming in the lake, and that he got back on the vessel but “his mom never made it out of the water,” according to Ventura County Sheriff’s Sgt. Kevin Donoghue.
Dorsey’s Los Angeles housemate, who asked not to be named, later told the Mail that Dorsey immediately went to the popular tourist spot once he learned what happened.
“Ryan headed up there as soon as their son was found to look after him,” the housemate said. “He was gone by the time I got home Wednesday.”
He added, “Naya has been in LA working but I don’t know where she has been living. None of us know any more than what is being reported at this time.”
Efforts to find Rivera at the lake shifted to a recovery mission Thursday.
