Elvis Presley’s grandson, Benjamin Keough, died of an apparent suicide in California on Sunday. He was 27.

Keough, the son of The King’s daughter, Lisa Marie Presley, appeared to have suf- fered a self-inflicted gunshot wound, lawenforcement sources in Calabasas told TMZ.

The tragefy left Lisa Marie “entirely heartbroken, inconsolable and beyond devastated,” her manager, Roger Widynowski, said in a statement.

“She adored that boy. He was the love of her life,” Widynowski said.

Keough, who bore a striking resemblance to his rock-legend grandfather, remained largely out of the spotlight throughout his life.

He followed in his mother and grandfather’s footsteps and pursued a career as a musician.

In 2009, Keough reportedly landed a $5 million deal with Universal Records to puy out five albums.

When he first inked the deal, Benjamin told London’s Telegraph newspaper he had no intention of channeling his famed grandfather’s rockabilly style.

“The music will be nothing like Elvis, nothing like him at all,” he said.

But no music appeared to have been released from the deal, Variety reported.

When asked about Benjamin’s career in a 2013 interview with The Huffington Post, Lisa Marie said, “He’s doing his own thing right now.

“I’m going to let him decide when he wants to go out and do what he wants to do.”

Keough’s father was Lisa Marie’s first husband, musician Danny Keough. Benjamin had three siblings, including Riley Keough, 31, an actress who starred in the drama series “The Girlfriend Experience.”

In June 2019, Lisa Marie posted a picture to Instagram of herself with all four children.

“Mama Lion with cubs,” the mother wrote.

Lisa Marie had her two youngest children, 11-year-old twin girls Finley and Harper, with her estranged-husband guitarist Michael Lockwood.

The couple filed for divorce in 2016 and are still reportedly locked in a custody battle over their daughters.

Lisa Marie, now 52, has also been married to Michael Jackson and Nicolas Cage.

Nancy Sinatra, the eldest daughter of Frank Sinatra, tweeted her condolences to Lisa Marie on Sunday night.

“What a terrible tragedy,” Nancy wrote.

“I have known you since before your mama [actress Priscilla Presley] gave birth to you, never dreaming you would have pain like this in your life. I’m so very sorry.”
