Rourke: De Niro a punk ass

-

MICKEY Rourke has slammed Robert De Niro in a fiery post calling him a “punk ass” and a “big f - - king crybaby” — adding that if their paths cross, he’d seriously “embarrass” the legendary actor.

Posting a photo of De Niro, 76, from the movie “Casino” to his Instagram, Rourke, 67, blasted “The Godfather II” star claiming he’d bad-mouthed him as a “liar.”

Rourke ranted, “Hey Robert De Niro, that’s right i am talking to you, you big f - - king crybaby. A friend of mine just recently told me that a few months back you’re quoted as saying to newspapers, ‘Mickey Rourke’s a liar he talks all kind of s - - t’. Listen Mr. Tough Guy in the movies, you’re the 1st person that ever called me a liar and it was in a newspaper.”

Rourke, whose feud with De Niro dates back three decades, added, “Let me tell you something, you punk ass, when i see you i swear to God on my Grandmother, on my brother and all my dogs, I gonna embarrass you severely 100%.” He signed the post, “Mickey Rourke. As God is my witness.”

Rourke had claimed last year that he was blocked by De Niro from appearing in “The Irishman.” He said Martin Scorsese wanted to meet him for a part in the film, but, “The casting person told my manager that Robert De Niro said he refused to work with me.”

De Niro’s rep, Stan Rosenfield, responded to Rourke’s allegations. “According to ‘The Irishman’ producers . . . Mickey Rourke was never asked to be in ‘The Irishman’ nor was he ever even thought of, discussed or considered to be in the movie,” Rosenfield told The Post, adding De Niro is “aware of these comments.”

Rourke and De Niro’s feud began on the set of the 1987 film “Angel Heart,” when Rourke claimed the “Raging Bull” actor refused to talk to him. “Now I don’t look up to him no more. I look through him,” Rourke said. “I came up from the s - - t. He doesn’t know that life. I lived that f - - king life, so every time I look him in the face, I look right through his a - - hole.”
