AUTO RACING: Dillon, Reddick finish 1-2

Austin Dillon stayed in front after a restart with two laps to go and beat rookie teammate Tyler Reddick to the checkered flag at Fort Worth, Texas, giving Richard Childress Racing a 1-2 NASCAR Cup finish and quite a show for spectators spread out in the stands.

Dillon raced to his third career win and first since Daytona at the start of the 2018 season.

● In Budapest, Hungary, Formula One champion Lewis Hamilton won the Hungarian Grand Prix for the eighth time to equal Michael Schumacher’s single-venue record and take the championsh­ip lead.

ETC.: De Gea hands Chelsea FA Cup final

At least David De Gea was spared having a crowd inside Wembley to witness his latest mistakes in the Manchester United goal. Gifted goals to beat United 3-1, Chelsea will be returning to the national stadium on Aug. 1 to face Arsenal in an all-London FA Cup final.

● In London, Leicester’s Champions League hopes took a severe dent following a 3-0 defeat at Tottenham on two goals from Harry Kane.

● In Bournemout­h, England, Southampto­n showed little mercy to south coast rival Bournemout­h on Sunday with a 2-0 win in the Premier League after late VAR drama.

● Watford fired manager Nigel Pearson with only two games remaining this season as the team tries to stay in the Premier League.

● Penguins star Sidney Crosby did not practice, a day after leaving a team scrimmage with an undisclose­d health issue.
