Brooklyn 18-yr.-old shot in the head
At least one gunman pumped a bullet into the back of a teen’s head in Brooklyn, one of four separate shootings overnight across the Big Apple, police said Friday.
The 18-year old victim was with two other men standing in a large group on Regent Place near Flatbush Avenue around 11 p.m. Thursday when one gunman — or possibly two — hopped out of a four-door sedan and began firing at them, cops said.
The teen was rushed to Kings County Hospital Center in critical condition, cops said.
The other two victims — a 21- and a 26-year-old — were shot in the buttocks and leg, respectively. They were taken to the same hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspects got back in their car and took off, heading south on Flatbush Avenue, cops said.
The Thursday gunplay began around 9:30 p.m. at West 132nd Street and Seventh Avenue in Harlem, where a 17-year-old boy was shot twice in the leg, cops said.
The suspect, a man in his 20s with a thin build, wearing a white T-shirt and gray shorts, fled north on Seventh Avenue.
The victim was taken to Harlem Hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries.
The violence continued into Friday, when a 21-yearold woman was shot in the leg after a dispute at East 156th Street and Forest Avenue in The Bronx around 1 a.m. She was taken to Lincoln Medical Center.
A few minutes later, a 62year-old woman was shot in the leg during a party in a basement on Saratoga Avenue near Newport Street in Brownsville just after 1 a.m., according to cops and police sources.
She went to Brookdale Hospital Medical Center, according to cops.
