F-Factor diet in feral furor

-

F-FACTOR diet creator Tanya Zuckerbrot, who is credited with honing the lean physiques of Megyn Kelly and Olivia Culpo, has denied accusations that her protein bars and powders cause severe side effects including migraines and miscarriages.

Hundreds of women have aired complaints online saying they experienced health problems after using F-Factor products, including gas pain, bloating, hives and malnutrition. Some have questioned whether the products contain elevated levels of lead.

Fashion influencer Emily Gellis began sharing the anonymous accounts with her 168,000 Instagram followers after she read the story of one woman who believed the products caused her to stop menstruating.

“These women are getting sick and they felt very alone,” Gellis told us, adding she receives numerous messages a day thanking her, but also anonymous threats from those who support F-Factor in the online furor.

One F-Factor follower, who asked not to be named, told Page Six’s Leah Bitsky that within a month of using F-Factor bars and powder she broke out in a rash all over her body. “It looked like someone drew on me with a red Sharpie,” she said.

Zuckerbrot founded NYC-based F-Factor — a high-fiber and protein diet that allows followers to drink alcohol — more than 20 years ago. She introduced her bars in 2018. The company also offers personal plans that cost up to $20,000 for unlimited access to dietitians.

But, “the rumors of dangerous levels of lead in the product is false,” Zuckerbrot, 47, told us. “This rumor that somehow I created a product that’s harming people’s health is so malicious and frankly unfounded.” Instead, she claims she is being “cyberstalked” and has contacted unnamed “authorities.”

Customers are demanding F-Factor disclose the results of its quality control testing. But F-Factor nixed that, saying that analysis “contains proprietary information about our formula.”
