TRAINING DAY

- — Brian Costello

HOGAN SHOWS BEST WR Chris Hogan had his best day since joining the Jets. Working with the first team for the first time, Hogan made several catches, including a nice onehanded grab on a crossing route. Hogan has impressed with the Jets with how quickly he has picked things up. PICKED APART QB Sam Darnold had a bad interception, his second in two days after starting off camp cleanly. It was a play-action pass and Darnold had some pressure on him and forced a ball into the middle of the field where safety Bradley McDougald pickeditoff. CAUGHT MY EYE The work ethic of RB Frank Gore is legendary. At 37, he continues to impress. During special teams periods, when he does not have anything to do, he goes to a side field and runs sprints. He is joined by teammates sometimes, but on Sunday he was by himself getting his work in. MEDICAL REPORT WR Breshad Perriman did not practice on Sunday after experiencing knee discomfort. He is expected back Monday. OT Chuma Edoga left practice with a calf injury. LB Patrick Onwuasor suffered a knee injury Saturday but did not have any torn ligaments. WR Denzel Mims (hamstring), CB Brian Poole (dehydration), CB Pierre Desir (hamstring), S Matthias Farley (hamstring), DE John FranklinMyers (groin), LB James Burgess (back), OT Conor McDermott (knee), DE Jabari Zuniga (quad), WR Vyncint Smith (core) and RB Josh Adams (hamstring) were all

out. OL Cameron Clark (shoulder) and TE

Bronson Kaufusi (hamstring) returned to practice.
