MLB: Roenicke not coming back for Bosox

The Red Sox told manager Ron Roenicke before the final game of the season Sunday that he will not be back in 2021, ending his one-year stopgap tenure with a last-place finish in the AL East. Roenicke was hurriedly hired on the eve of spring training after it was revealed Alex Cora had played a key role in the Astros’ sign-stealing scandal.
