THE STORY

The Giants take a crosscountry flight to Seattle to meet the Seahawks at Lumen Field on Sunday.

The 4-7 Giants have been one of the NFL’s most profitable wagers in recent weeks. They’ve gone 6-2 against the spread since the start of October, with the lone blemishes in that span being a 20-19 victory over Washington as a 1.5-point home favorite, and then a 19-17 victory as a 6.5-point road favorite at Cincinnati this past Sunday. Quarterback Colt McCoy came on in relief of Daniel Jones, who suffered a hamstring injury that will sideline him for Sunday’s game. Since the start of the 2018 season, the Giants are 15-2 against the spread in road games against NFC opponents.

After winning and covering each of their first four games of the 2020 season, the 8-3 Seahawks come into this one having gone 4-3 straight-up and 2-5 against the spread over their past seven outings. Seattle is coming off a 23-17 victory as a 6.5-point road favorite in Philadelphia this past Monday night.

The Giants’ odds to beat Seattle opened at +350 at FOX Bet Sportsbook, which implies New York has a 22 percent chance of winning.

THE HISTORY

The Seahawks have gotten the better of this head-tohead series in recent seasons, going 4-0 both straight-up and against the spread when facing the Giants since the start of the 2011 season. This is the first meeting between the teams since Seattle’s 24-7 victory as a 3.5-point road favorite in October 2017. Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson was the star of that game, throwing for 334 yards and three second-half touchdowns. McCoy’s only career start against Seattle came in October 2011, when McCoy’s Browns beat the

Seahawks, 6-3.

This time around, FOX Bet Sportsbook is offering odds of +250 for Russell Wilson and Colt McCoy each to throw for at least 250 yards.

THE STARS OF THE SHOW

Sterling Shepard has been his team’s most productive receiver after missing four games with a toe injury he suffered in Week 2. In five games since returning, Shepard has caught 33 passes for 283 yards.

FOX Bet Sportsbook is offering +300 odds on Sterling Shepard to tally 75 or more receiving yards and at least one touchdown against the Seahawks on Sunday.

On the other side of the field, DK Metcalf leads the NFL with 1,039 receiving yards. Metcalf has surpassed 90 receiving yards in eight of Seattle’s 11 games, and he leads the team with nine touchdowns. He racked up a career-high 177 yards on 10 receptions in Seattle’s victory over Philadelphia on Monday night. FOX Bet Sportsbook is offering odds of +137 on DK Metcalf to tally 75 or more receiving yards and score at least one touchdown against the Giants on Sunday.

?? ?? A $10 bet on both Colt McCoy and Russell Wilson to throw for 250+ yards would pay $35.
