Politicizing the Vaccine: Cuo’s Dangerous Game
It is reported that the first 170,000 doses of Pfizer’s coronavirus vaccine are set to be delivered by the federal government by Dec. 15 to New York (“Death by Cuomo?” Editorial, Dec. 4).
Good news, right? Now the problem is Gov. Cuomo has doubts about the Trump administration’s safety standards for the vaccine and the need for federal funding for distribution.
Meanwhile, the CDC says it will be safe based on FDA approval.
In my opinion, Cuomo’s dislike of President Trump should not cause the loss of more New Yorkers to COVID.

The recent Post editorial regarding the availability of federal funding for COVID vaccine distribution fails on the facts and the math.
It’s true the state and city combined have $14 million in federal funding available for vaccine distribution planning. But they’re for reimbursement of expenses. The state has spent the money, and more, and when we choose to draw it down for reimbursement, is just
a matter of accounting.
The math on the federal funding shortcomings is simple: We’ll still need $999,999,986 to equitably distribute the vaccine in New York.
In other words, your piece is a distraction from the real problem states face: The federal government has failed to provide the vast resources needed to distribute a vaccine, which will be critical in getting the economy back to normal. That’s malpractice, and The Post should call it that.

Here we go again: Cuomo being Cuomo. His highness is going to hold the vaccine over our
heads like a carrot.
We lost thousands of people to his nursinghome debacle. Now he wants more of us to die while he decides whether the vaccine suits him.
I say it’s about time we boot his rear end off that throne and replace him with someone who is adept at getting the job done. He’s proven time and again he can’t.

Liberal Democrats, specifically Cuomo, Joe Biden and Sen. Kamala Harris, have warned against taking the coronavirus vaccine because it was created under the Trump administration.
So the leaders of the “party of the people” are perfectly comfortable in telling their lemmings to avoid a potential cure for the worst scourge inflicted upon civilization in the past 100 years, strictly for their own gratification.
