MID-HAIR COLLISION

Nasty in-flight ‘fight’ over seat goes viral

- By YARON STEINBUCH

A hairy situation involving an airline passenger who took revenge on an inconsiderate woman sitting in front of her has taken off on social media.

TikTok user Janelle Elise Flom posted video of a woman flinging her long blond hair over her seat — and over the TV screen of the passenger, also a woman, sitting behind her.

The annoyed woman picks up the hair and throws it back over the seat, but the first woman flips it right back.

The footage — hilarious and horrifying at the same time — then shows the backseat passenger going to town on the hair, sticking a wad of chewed-up gum into it.

But it gets worse. She then proceeds to cut some of the hair off with nail clippers and then sticks a lollipop into it for good measure. And if that weren’t enough, she then dunks the strands into her coffee cup.

At one point, a masked flight attendant is seen strolling past, apparently oblivious to the shenanigans. Or maybe she just brushed it off.

“Whose side are you on?!” Flom captioned her post, which has been viewed more than 10.8 million times since being posted on Thanksgiving.

The hair-raising act was so brazen that some questioned whether it was legit.

“That HAS to be a wig and this is staged,” one user wrote.

“Come on that’s a wig!!! Totally staged!!! You think after she flipped it she didn’t feel all that stuff in her hair!” another said.

But many sided with the offended woman’s retaliatory measures.

“At first I didn’t agree, but then she kept flipping it back,” one person wrote.

“Nah see if you got your hair all up in my screen and I ask you to remove it and you don’t we’re gonna have a problem,” Tevin Katumba said.

Another user added: “I fully support their actions.”
