Andrew may face French press over Epstein ties

- Lee Brown

The French investigators who last week arrested a modeling-agency boss linked to Jeffrey Epstein now want to interview Prince Andrew, reports say.

Jean-Luc Brunel, 74 — who was arrested at Paris’ Charles de Gaulle Airport on rape and sexual-harassment charges Wednesday — also faces accusations that he had sex with Epstein accuser Virginia Roberts Giuffre, who has alleged that she was also made to have sex with the British royal.

Now Andrew, 60, is wanted by officials in France to assist in their probe into the late pedophile financier, The Sun reported.

“We have issued numerous appeals for witnesses, and Prince Andrew is clearly a witness to Epstein’s conduct over many years,” a source told the UK newspaper.

“Beyond that, Andrew is said to have visited Epstein’s home in Paris and had relations with the victims Brunel is accused of abusing. Andrew’s testament is crucial, and he could, of course, be summoned.”

US investigators have accused Andrew of refusing their requests for interviews, and his royal status could also create difficulties for the French to summon him, The Sun noted.

Lisa Bloom, a lawyer for one of Brunel’s accusers, told the paper that the royal was an obvious key witness for investigators.

“Prince Andrew, time to make good on your promise of co-operating with authorities, or you may be next,” Bloom told The Sun.

Andrew has denied having sex with Giuffre as well as having any involvement in Epstein’s sex ring.

“He has never met Brunel. No ifs, no buts,” a source close to Andrew told The Sun.

Brunel, the head of MC2 Model Management, could face life in prison if convicted of the charges of raping minors and sexual harassment.
