Weird BUT true

A New Zealand mom bought a paperweight at a yard sale for $1 years ago — only to discover recently that it is actually an urn, with ashes still inside.

Jessica Roberts realized it was no paperweight at all when she found a similar piece on Amazon for $30, The Mirror reported.

Roberts opened the urn and posted a photo of the ashes inside on Facebook — and the story was picked up by a local newspaper.

Snow wasn’t in the Christmas forecast in Florida, but iguanas were.

Unexpected cold weather in South Florida during the holidays may knock the coldblooded lizards off of trees and onto the ground.

“Brrr! Much colder temps expected for Christmas,” the National Weather Service said in Miami earlier in the week. “Falling iguanas possible.”

The snow never had a chance against this guy.

A Kentucky man threw his shovel aside when the snow piled up on his driveway — and picked up his flamethrower instead.

Timothy Browning stunned neighbors when he walked out of his house in a bathrobe, socks, slippers and a hat and fired up.

A white Christmas? Florida fishermen found $850,000 worth of cocaine floating off Sugarloaf Key last week.

The fishing boat spotted the stash, consisting of 74 pounds of coke, on Wednesday and called in the Monroe County Sheriff ’s Office, the Miami Herald reported.

Aw, what a deer you are. Video posted to social media Sunday showed a pair of deer in Nara, Japan, attempted to make a well-mannered entrance at a local teahouse — standing outside the automatic doors and then seemingly bowing when a worker comes to the door.

A buck, who is quickly joined by a fawn, stands his ground when the worker tries to shoo him away, footage posted to imgur.com shows.
