A New Zealand mom bought a paperweight at a yard sale for $1 years ago — only to discover recently that it is actually an urn, with ashes still inside.

Jessica Roberts realized it was no paperweight at all when she found a similar piece on Amazon for $30, The Mirror reported.

Roberts opened the urn and posted a photo of the ashes inside on Facebook — and the story was picked up by a local newspaper.
