Weird true BUT

- Dean Balsamini, Wires

This guy is for the birds. A Glasgow, Scotland, man who thought he spotted an ill-looking, exotic, blue and white bird on his deck in need of rescue posted pictures of the would-be creature to Facebook along with his plan to save it.

But the joke was on Stephen Maguire, 39, when he carefully approached the “feathered friend” — only to discover it wasn’t a bird at all, but a blue and white scrub brush.

His wife joked, “the lockdown is affecting us all.”

This Florida community doesn’t need a rooster. A Brevard County woman was arrested after she allegedly repeatedly harassed neighbors by screaming profanities about politicians and ringing a loud bell daily at 5 a.m. Deputies were called to the Melbourne home 20 times in the past two years regarding Linda Wildes, including in early December, when her neighbor complained Wildes was interrupting her child’s remote learning.

What a grave mistake. Two Florida men accused of robbing the final resting places of veterans told authorities they did so because “the spirit is much stronger in a hero.”

Brian Montalvo Tolentino, 43, and Juan Burgos Lopez, 39, allegedly broke into four graves in Polk County, removing body parts they used to build a shrine.

When it comes to gambling, the sky’s the limit.

DraftKings is taking wagers on aerial-drone races.

Betting on the Drone Racing League is legal in Colorado, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Tennessee and West Virginia, with regulatory approvals pending in additional states.

A shawarma shop in Moscow was forced to close a day after it opened following an outcry over its Josef Stalin-themed branding.

The Stalin Doner shop featured a portrait of the Communist dictator above its front door.
