Two games sell out in half-hour as MSG tix go on sale

The Knicks put individual tickets on sale Thursday for the three Garden games that will host fans — with prices ranging from $50 to $360 — and many were gobbled up.

According to Knicks ticket links, it appeared within a half-hour of the sale, tickets were sold out for the Warriors and Pacers games, scheduled for Tuesday and Feb. 27, respectively. Some for Thursday’s Kings remained.

The tickets could be purchased on the Knicks website. After purchase, fans were to receive a virtual link that would allow consultation for speedy COVID-19 test results.

A cap of 2,000 fans are permitted into the Garden. Sunday’s Garden game vs. the Timberwolves will be the last fan-less contest.

The Rangers also released more info regarding the return of fans to their games. As of noon Thursday, fans could purchase tickets for three upcoming home games — Feb. 26 and 28 vs. the Bruins, and March 2 vs. the Sabres.

There is a limit of four seats per customer for Knicks games. The Rangers did not specify a limit. Both teams are offering a limited number of luxury suites.

Fans will need to show proof of a COVID-19 test in the previous 72 hours prior to entry. MSG Sports has teamed up with two PCR testing providers, Northwell Health-GoHealth Urgent Care and Vault Health to provide fans with options that will make the process faster and easier.

Limited reporters have been permitted into the Garden since the home opener in December. The reporters, including MSG Network broadcasters Mike Breen and Walt Frazier, are tested at the Garden’s Theatre four hours before tipoff.

Both teams’ remaining ticket schedules were not released. The Knicks’ remaining home games include the NBA champion Lakers, and Zion Williamson’s Pelicans.
