A 66-year-old Bronx man has been charged in the chilling, caught-on-video murder of a female construction worker gunned down on her lunch break this week, police said Friday.

Suspect Jose Everaldo Reyes pumped six bullets into 52-year-old Lizbeth Mass at City Island Avenue and City Island Road at 12:45 p.m. Wednesday, according to cops and police sources.

Reyes was jealous that she was dating another man, Dwayne Walker, her family told The Post.

Walker, who witnessed the murder — and who sources said drove his car into the gunman to prevent his escape and was also seen in the video — has not been charged.

Reyes was charged with second-degree murder, manslaughter, criminal use of a firearm and criminal possession of a weapon, police said.

He used a gun stolen from a retired NYPD housing cop in the crime, police sources told The Post.

Reyes lived alone in the basement of a South Bronx building where he cleaned and took out the garbage in exchange for free rent, his superintendent, Carlos Chancha, 45, said in Spanish on Friday.

Chancha said he last saw Reyes on Monday, when “he seemed normal,” and Chancha said he “never had a problem” with Reyes in seven years.

Mass’ brother, Raul Mass, 43, told The Post Thursday that Reyes lived in the area, and was romantically interested in Lizbeth.

“He was always bringing lunch to her, and my sister is a friendly person to everybody, and he went out to her yesterday, bought her lunch.”

But when Lizbeth’s boyfriend showed up, Reyes became upset and pedaled off on his bicycle, according to Raul.

Reyes pedaled back a short time later to shoot Lizbeth, sources said.

Then he allegedly tried to escape — but Walker, who was sitting in his car nearby, sped toward him and knocked him off his bike.
