He’s on the ball

BEFORE becoming an Oscarand Emmy-nominated actor, Don Cheadle (above) was a decent basketball player. He told The Post’s Nicki Gostin he was even “great till the knee went out. I balled a lot . . . I have the knee to prove it,” he said. Though his court career ended, he’s starring in the upcoming “Space Jam: A New Legacy” with LeBron James and Bugs Bunny. He said of starring in more “popcorny” fare: “It doesn’t have to be complete pablum.”
