Mother-daughter duo’s breast-milk facial on ‘sMothered’
TALK about milking a situation. In Monday night’s episode of TLC’s hit reality series “sMothered,” original momand-daughter cast members Dawn and Cher Hubsher had a little pampering session that includes at-home facials — made with Cher’s breast milk.
“Anything that’s good for the skin?”
Dawn asked her offspring, with whom she has already developed a reputation for sharing everything.
Dawn suggested the duo take Cher’s breast milk and mix it with a skin-care mask for a facial.
“sMothered” Season 3, co-produced by The Post, follows several pairs of mothers and daughters with outrageously close bonds while continuing to document Season 1 mothers and daughters.
The Dawn-Cher duo has grown into a trio and a multigenerational effort. On Monday night’s episode Belle, Cher’s daughter, accompanied her mother and grandmother as they prepped and applied the breast-milk mask.
Cher justified the situation, saying that, since she’s a medspa nurse, she’s heard of breast-milk facials but never had the chance to try it … until now.
Some mothers might encourage their daughters to breastfeed in order to receive some health benefits. However, it seems that, like her daughter and granddaughter, Dawn herself also wants to reap the benefits of breast milk.
She went on to explain how this unusual activity isn’t abnormal for her and her mother.
“Nothing that comes out of Cher is gross. We’re on a whole different level together,” said Dawn. “And it’s fun and it’s creating another memory for us together. Cher and I are growing closer every day.”
Cher said this sort of activity is exactly what she misses while she lives on New York’s Upper East Side, hundreds of miles from her mother in Florida. “My mom and I do everything together, and when I go home it’s just not the same without her,” Cher said, somewhat solemnly.
Midway through their breast-milk bash, Cher’s close friend Tanya stopped by, and the mother-daughter duo were excited to see her — but more so to share their latest skin-care hack. Tanya was greeted by a beaming, facialwearing Dawn as Cher attempted to explain what they were doing — stunning Tanya into silence.
“Of course, anything good for the skin, I’m doing,” Dawn reiterated to a skeptical Tanya before justifying her actions: “It’s great for the skin!”
Even Tanya — who’s previously held a front-row seat to their wild mother-daughter antics — couldn’t seem to wrap her head around this one.
