Taylor Swift has a new $10M NYC mystery neighbor,
TAYLOR Swift (left) is getting a new neighbor. The stellar songstress, who is also a big real estate investor, has spent close to $50 million on a single cobblestoned block in Tribeca — including three units for close to $30 million at 155 Franklin St., beside her $18 million townhouse at 153 Franklin St., as Gimme Shelter previously reported. Now another unit, on the fourth floor of 155 Franklin, has sold for $9.99 million. The four-bedroom, three-bath prewar unit is 3,532 square feet. It boasts a great room with oversize windows and a fireplace, along with a chef ’s kitchen with a breakfast bar. There’s also a main bedroom with a dressing room and spa-like bathroom. The unit also boasts classic loft features, like cast-iron columns, exposed brick and wood-beamed ceilings. “It was supposed to be a rental, but then the buyer saw it, fell in love and basically purchased it on the spot,” our spy said. The listing brokers were Douglas Elliman’s Kirsten Jordan, a star of “Million Dollar Listing New York,” and Elliman’s Karishma Sani. At 155 Franklin, Swift bought an 8,000-square-foot penthouse duplex from “Lord of the Rings” director Peter Jackson for $19.95 million in 2014. She later added a $9.75 million unit. Past and current residents of the 6½-story brick building have included comedian Aziz Ansari, Orlando Bloom and Steven Soderbergh. The classic 19th-century building was the former Sugarloaf Warehouse. Quips Jordan: “Who wouldn’t want to share an address and an elevator with Taylor Swift?”
