'ONE-TWO' PUNCH IN SUBWAY
Man slugs rider days after release: cops
A man allegedly slugged a deaf woman at the Union Square subway station on Sunday, knocking her onto the tracks — days after he was accused of punching another woman and telling her, “You’re going to die today,” law-enforcement sources said.
Vladimir Pierre, 41, an alleged gang member with 27 prior arrests, had been free thanks to bail-reform laws, sources said.
On Sunday, he allegedly punched Xingjuan Zhou, 59, shortly after 10:30 a.m. on the 4/5/6 platform. Bystanders pulled her off the tracks, and she was taken to Mount Sinai Beth Israel with facial injuries.
Pierre fled but was arrested nearby, according to sources. He was awaiting arraignment late Sunday on assault charges.
His bust came days after he was freed without bail on Wednesday following an alleged assault on Crystal Porter in Brooklyn, according to sources. Porter was waiting for the Brooklyn Botanic Garden shuttle when she was attacked.
“He don’t want to fight men,” the 30-yearold mother of two told The Post on Sunday. “He just wants to fight women.
“I don’t even know him. He was coming down the stairs. He was yelling, but I don’t even think he was talking to me. He came down the stairs, and he just punched me.”
Porter said that as cops arrived, Pierre told her, “You’re going to die today.”
Law-enforcement sources said Pierre was charged with assault in that case but state reforms barred him from being held on bail.
Pierre, a reputed member of Brooklyn’s Newkirk Crew street gang, has two other pending cases against him — including one for an alleged choking attack in April.
In that case, Pierre is accused of yelling, “I’m gonna kill you!” at a woman on a Q train in Brooklyn before grabbing her neck and choking her, records show. He also allegedly punched her face and bit her head.
The second case involves the use of “slugs” in a coin machine last year, sources said.
Pierre has also been the subject of 10 reports of an emotionally disturbed person, according to sources.
Zhou, meanwhile, reenacted the attack for The Post on Sunday, showing where she hurt her head and how she was pushed.
