WHAT’S in Prince Andrew’s diary, we don’t yet know. To know what’s in Prince Philip’s will, London Bridge will have to fall down first.
To protect the “dignity and standing of the Queen,” we’ll be made to wait for that news 90 years. In 1910, when the last will and testament of Prince Francis of Teck — youngest brother of Queen Mary — was opened it became a royal mess. Seems the nice physically active prince had left Queen Mary’s onetime favorite emeralds to his mistress the Countess of Kilmorey. Who she was, who knows. What she did, we can figure. Whatever she did she obviously did good.
Thus, per the High Court of London, the practice of protecting the queen and keeping royal mouths and behests shut for 90 years became law. So, if you’re interested in Phil’s will, you’ll have to wait until Prince Andrew opens HIS mouth and memory first.
Can you say cheese
OK, I’m no television critic, but if you like cheddar, Camembert, Roquefort and Gouda you’d have liked the Emmys. They were that cheese-y. Three of us watched in a friend’s home. Two left midway. The third stayed. The TV was in her home.

Paging to stage
AT the Majestic Theatre Frank DiLella, NY1’s Emmy-winning theater guy, hosted a Broadway’s Back thing.
In between Lin-Manuel Miranda and Kristin Chenoweth, Jesse Tyler Ferguson said he auditioned on the stage of this same Majestic for “Spamalot” in 2006. Got the gig then nixed it to do B’way’s “Spelling Bee” instead. Then Danny Burstein got emotional. The Majestic’s where his late wife — actress Rebecca Luker — made her Broadway debut. This theater reopens “Phantom” Oct. 22. Our local yokel Hochul Gov said: “‘Phantom’ masks were always an in thing,” which makes no more sense than anything else she’s said.
So give your regards — and credit cards to Broadway.
