Biden’s Deadly Mistake: A Tragic Botched Airstrike

-

It’s hard to imagine that even the most insightful visionary could have predicted the bedlam that President Biden and his administration have created in their brief time at the helm (“It gets even worse,” Sept. 20).

The botched Afghanistan withdrawal, which egregiously resulted in the death of 13 US service members, is now exacerbated by the killing of 10 Afghan civilians in a ill-contrived retaliatory drone strike.

On the domestic front, the migrant scourge has so many detrimental ramifications, including humanitarian horrors and an ominous, burgeoning security peril to the United States.

The United States has always been renowned for its resiliency when confronted with adversity. However, another three-plus years of such deleterious policies may prove to be insurmountable. Denis David

It should come as no surprise that Biden’s drone strike on ISIS-K resulted in the deaths of 10 civilians, including seven children — but no terrorists.

Biden’s incompetence, coupled with our compromised military intelligence as a result of his hasty military withdrawal from Afghanistan, has further demonstrated to our adversaries how pathetic our military leadership has become. Jack Kaufman

Why would Biden authorize a drone strike that killed innocents — including an aid worker and seven children — based on inconclusive intelligence reports?

Biden, as usual, showed he cares about optics more than human life.

Biden wanted to demonstrate how effective his “over the horizon” strategy was in the wake of the debacle he caused that led to the deaths of 13 American heroes. Biden had to show off — and fast.

The only thing that’s “over the horizon” is Biden’s judgment. David Rabinovitz

More than a million illegal immigrants have crossed our southern border thus far in 2021. There was the Afghanistan debacle, which now includes a botched drone attack, a product of faulty “over the horizon” intelligence and a politicized Joint Chiefs of Staff.

And where is the president? Silent and in hiding in Delaware. Can our nation survive another three years of this disastrous administration?
