A North Carolina family got the shock of their lives when they opened their loved one’s casket — only to find a stranger wearing her clothes.

Jennetta Archer said the morbid mix-up was discovered during a service for her mother earlier this month at Hunter’s Funeral Home in Ahoskie.

Funeral-home workers switched the bodies before continuing the service.

It was a recipe for disaster. An Alabama man recently sprung from jail was busted again after he was caught conked out in a pile of chicken fingers, assorted snacks and methamphet­amine, cops said.

Matthew Williamson, 37, allegedly sneaked into the PG Athletic Complex concession stand Wednesday — less than a week after he got out of the Jefferson County Jail for breaking into a car and stealing property, cops said.

After admitting to burglarizi­ng the candy stand, he was booked back in jail.

The city is struggling to contain a four-legged invading force of trash-loving wild boars, which have been wandering out of nearby parks in search of food.

The beasts, which are found in groups of 10 to 30, can weigh up to 220 pounds each.

Ray Boose Jr., of Cumberland County, said that he bought his latest winning ticket when his wife asked him to stop at a shop in Mount Holly Springs.
