Bethenny, ex back in court

-

ASTONISHINGLY, it’s not over yet. More than eight years after calling it quits, Bethenny Frankel and Jason Hoppy at last finalized their divorce in March — but one more battle awaits.

Even though a judge signed off on their divorce on Jan. 20, now the warring former couple will be back in court on Dec. 8.

In a move that could only please the possibly gazillion dollar-an-hour attorneys involved, Frankel and Hoppy are headed back into battle over custody of their daughter Bryn, 11. Her rep did not comment.

Frankel and Hoppy married in 2010 and called it quits in December 2012. The Skinnygirl

founder filed for divorce one month later.

Their divorce and custody battles — which have included nasty accusations aired in court — have raged on for years.

In 2019, a divorce judgment couldn’t be issued because of an order of protection in place against Hoppy, who was charged with harassing and stalking Frankel in 2017.

This resulted in Frankel, an alum of “The Real Housewives of New York City,” requesting a change in custody over Bryn. Hoppy vigorously denied harassment and stalking.

Meanwhile, proving divorce has a nice ring to it, Frankel, 51, conveniently got engaged to boyfriend Paul Bernon, 44, just as the news reports hit that she had finalized her divorce from Hoppy, 51.

She told People at the time, “The ring is absolutely beautiful . . . Paul’s an absolutely beautiful person and it’s an exciting, fun time.”

She said of her engagement to the film producer, “It was intimate” adding it took place in Florida in February. “Just the two of us, on an island off of Florida. No makeup, no manicure, no ring photos. It was very simple and beautiful.”

She added, “He’s a good person who I love . . . I don’t know if it’s a yin to my yang, but he’s really relaxed, he’s mellow and he’s very, very funny.”
