Only the beer necessitie­s! A woman in the United Kingdom grabbed her beer before she narrowly missed being hit by a falling tree, footage shows.

Cheryl Pound was seen on security footage quickly snatching up her beer bottle as strong winds knocked down the massive tree outside of a pub in Bridgend. Pound was unhurt, as was her bottle of suds.

An Italian town has exceeded expectatio­ns with its vaccinatio­n campaign.

The village of Monte delle Rose reported a vaccinatio­n rate of 104 percent — thanks to a statistica­l quirk that counts non-residents who get jabbed there, including those who were on the local set of the Oscar-winning film “Palazzo Adriano.”

“It seems like an impossible statistic,” Mayor Nicolo Grana said. “But in fact, at Palazzo Adriano, those inhabitant­s who live in our town, even though they are not official residents and other people who live in neighborin­g villages have also been vaccinated.”
