Antioxidan­t-rich colorful vegetables such as artichokes, bell peppers, eggplant, green peas, radishes, summer squash, tomatoes and zucchini

Cruciferou­s vegetables such as arugula, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cabbage, cauliflowe­r, kale, turnips and watercress

Dark leafy greens such as collard greens, escarole, romaine, spinach and Swiss chard

Good fats

Bad vegetables

Corn, processed vegetable snacks, white potatoes

Bad fats

Peanuts and oils such as cottonseed oil, margarine, shortening, soybean oil, vegetable oil
