THIS fashionable apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. Heidi Klum’s daughter, Leni Klum, 18, borrowed one of her supermodel mom’s dresses for prom night. It seems that not only is the teen pursuing her own modeling career, but has also been eyeing her mother’s closet. Leni (at left) posted Instagram photos yesterday showing off a black strapless number for the big night, captioning the snaps, “prom night in mamas [sic] dress.” Heidi wore the same satiny style in 1998 for the filming of “Comic Relief VIII,” featuring appearances from Billy Crystal, Whoopi Goldberg, Robin Williams and Jason Alexander, Page Six Style reported. But her daughter gave the look an update with a simple diamond necklace and a $695 rhinestone-embellished Alexander Wang bag. Leni’s fashion career has been heating up ever since she appeared on the cover of Vogue Germany alongside her mom in December 2020. Just one month later, she walked in a Berlin fashion week opening show. Heidi’s look-alike has since starred on the covers of Glamour and Harper’s Bazaar’s German editions, and in August 2021, she made her runway debut at Dolce & Gabbana’s Alta Moda show in Italy. “I honestly wasn’t that nervous,” Leni told Elle after her turn on the catwalk. “I sort of just winged it.” Former Victoria’s Secret Angel Heidi had originally styled the dress with center-parted hair, a gold lariat necklace and black peep-toe heels — it was the ’90s, after all. More recently, she posed for a sultry campaign for Kim Kardashian’s underwear line with Tyra Banks, Alessandra Ambrosio and Candice Swanepoel.
