KANYE TWIT-CANNED

- By BEN KESSLEN

Kanye West was suspended from Twitter after writing early Sunday that he wanted to go “death con 3” on Jews — just hours after would-be Twitter buyer Elon Musk welcomed him back to the platform.

In a bizarre and vile rant, the rapper also known as Ye wrote, “I’m a bit sleepy tonight but when I wake up I’m going death con 3 On JEWISH PEOPLE The funny thing is I actually can’t be Anti Semitic because black people are actually Jew also You guys have toyed with me and tried to black ball anyone whoever opposes your agenda.”

The rapper appeared to be referencing the military term “defcon,” which is a term with five levels to denote the intensity of a national security threat.

A Twitter rep told The Post on Sunday afternoon that West’s account “has been locked due to a violation of Twitter’s policies.” That means the Grammy winner can’t currently tweet, and the tweet in question has been deleted.

The suspension comes after West was knocked off Instagram on Friday for making anti-Jewish remarks.

His account was restricted after sharing a since-deleted screenshot of an iMessage exchange in which he accused Sean Love Combs, aka Diddy, of being controlled by Jews.

Diddy had told West to “stop playing these internet games.”

“This ain’t a game,” West said. “Ima use you as an example to show the Jewish people that told you to call me that no one can threaten or influence me.”

After the Instagram ban, West returned to Twitter on Saturday for the first time since November 2020.

“Welcome back to Twitter, my friend!” Musk said.

Musk was replying to a tweet in which West criticized Facebook and Instagram owner Mark Zuckerberg for his suspension.

“How you gone kick me off instagram . . . You used to be my n----” the rapper wrote, referring to Zuckerberg.

“Who you think created cancel culture?” West said in another tweet.

His posts come less than a week after he created a firestorm for wearing a “White Lives Matter’’ T-shirt to his clothing-line show during Paris Fashion Week.

The rapper later told Fox News’ Tucker Carlson that he was shocked at the uproar.

“They’re looking for an explanation — as an artist, you don’t have to give an explanation, but as a leader, you do,” he said.

“So the answer to why I wrote ‘White Lives Matter’ on a shirt is they do. It’s an obvious thing,” West said.

He said his dad reached out to him about the incident.

“I thought the shirt was a funny shirt. I thought the idea of wearing it was funny. And I said, ‘Dad, why do you think it’s funny?’ And he said, ‘Just a black man stating the obvious,’ ” West said.

The ex-husband of Kim Kardashian has dealt with social-media suspensions before.

In March, West hurled a racial slur at comedian Trevor Noah, who had called him out for “harassing” Kardashian amid their divorce, landing the rapper a temporary Instagram suspension.

Noah, who recently announced he is stepping down from “The Daily Show,’’ said, “What [Kardashian is] going through is terrifying to watch, and it shines a spotlight on what so many women go through when they choose to leave.”

SOURCES close to Kanye West are deeply concerned about him, Page Six is told.

Insiders are in no doubt that his recent headline-grabbing behavior is the result of a mental break, and they believe it’s the most serious such episode that the rapper has suffered.

We’re told that the “Watch the Throne” star is barely sleeping, which is an issue that reportedly contributed to his hospitalization in 2016.

Sources close to the star said that his odd behavior began when he fired the publicist for his Paris fashion show last week, scrapped his plans for the show and hastily put together a new show featuring the now-infamous “White Lives Matter” theme. He also booked his jaw-dropping interview with Tucker Carlson against the advice of his team, according to insiders.

Since then he’s been firing consultants and advisers who have disagreed with him or resisted his ideas, sources said, which have widely been regarded as anti-Semitic or racist.

He’s also trying to hire a new team geared toward politics, and said he wants to focus on putting together a platform for a second presidential run in 2024. (Yesterday, he posted a baseball cap with “2024” printed on the brim.)

They also said that he’s been alienating confidants by using the same rhetoric in private that led him to publicly endorse the “White Lives Matter” slogan and tweet anti-Semitic remarks.

We’re told that friends are at a loss to find someone who can get through to the superstar and convince him to seek professional help or temper his outlandish and self-destructive behavior, and he’s even fought with longtime pals who have tried to calm him down.

West was hospitalized because of mental health problems in 2016 and in 2019 he said that he suffers from bipolar disorder.

Over the weekend, Instagram said that it was restricting West’s account because the company said he had violated its standards, and Adidas said his sneaker deal was under review.

A rep for West didn’t respond.
