Not all Trumps are pumped

WHILE Donald Trump is energized about his possible indictment and arrest, his family is not excited, a source tells Page Six.

We reported this week that the former president is in “high spirits” — and that his team is “pumped” — over all the media attention he’s getting, as they think it’ll rile up his base.

However, a source tells us his wife, Melania, isn’t showing the same enthusiasm.

“She wants to be away from it. She wants to protect [their son,] Barron,” 17, said a source. “Melania is lying very low. She hasn’t been coming out for the dinners and events at Mara-Lago. He’s acting like everything is normal, but she hasn’t been social.”

We hear Trump’s daughter Ivanka and her husband, Jared Kushner, both close advisers to Trump during his administration, are similarly steering clear. “They want nothing to do with this,” said a source. “They are staying away and don’t want to be hounded by reporters. I don’t think you will see them defending him, it will be no comment.” The source added that “Ivanka lost a lot of friends and her social scenes during his presidency . . . They want it behind them.”

The Post reported in November that Trump begged Ivanka and Kushner to join his campaign for next year’s presidential election. But he denied that he asked them, claiming he wanted to shield the pair and their three kids from “mean and nasty” politics.

Ivanka released a statement saying, “I love my father very much. This time around, I am choosing to prioritize my young children and the private life we are creating as a family. I do not plan to be involved in politics.” Another source said of Ivanka and Kushner, “They’re very happy building a new life in Miami.”

Trump’s potential arrest stems from the Manhattan DA’s probe into alleged hush money he paid to porn star Stormy Daniels .A source told us earlier this week of his jubilant approach to the proceedings, “If an indictment and arrest happens, he wants it to be public.”
