Knocking NYPD Raises: AOC’s Low Shot at Cops
Rep. Alexandria OcasioCortez is wrong, as usual (“AOC adds insult to police injury,” April 19).
Cops make less money than teachers, but they deserve more for their dedication.
During the pandemic, the NYPD was on-duty and in-person 24/7/365, while New York City’s public-school teachers worked from home.

Her disdain for law enforcement was underlined by her speaking out against raises for hardworking NYPD heroes.

Our police work under increasingly dangerous conditions, often without the support of morons like AOC, who denigrate them every chance they gets.
