Jared stays south of trial

-

WHILE Ivanka Trump was being grilled on the stand in her father’s $250 million civil fraud trial in New York on Wednesday, her husband, Jared Kushner, was notably absent.

We hear the NYC real estate heir stayed behind in the couple’s Miami home. It’s unclear why he didn’t come up north to support her.

While Kushner was absent, his name was brought up during Ivanka’s testimony when she took the stand under court order as a witness called by the state.

Emails between the couple were brought up that showed Kushner — who did not work for the Trump Organization — giving his wife advice in 2013 regarding a real estate deal to turn the Old Post Office building in Washington, DC, into a Trump property.

“You can get better pricing,” Kushner wrote in one email. In another, Ivanka asked a Trump real estate employee to “send Jared the latest.”

They wed in 2009. She worked for the Trump Organization before leaving in 2017 to work in her father’s administration. They have three kids.

Earlier this week, a source told Page Six that Donald Trump was “pissed” his eldest daughter had to testify in the civil case.

A source familiar with the Trump family told Page Six, “What you aren’t hearing in court is how upset and agitated [Trump] is that his children have been dragged into court. He feels it’s another move to upset him. He’s pissed.” His sons Eric and Don Jr. also testified in the case against him.

The source added, “This is causing problems with Ivanka, who has worked hard to stay under the radar.”

The Donald has adamantly denied the allegations against him.
