One of the key witnesses in the hush money trial against former President Donald Trump is the old National Enquirer boss David Pecker (“Pecker’s a ‘killer’ for celebritie­s,” April 26).

How does the National Enquirer killing negative stories about Trump — to have a better chance at getting elected — differ at all from what the mainstream media does for President Biden every day? Deidre Harvey

cution’s case is weak and is only being pursued to tie up Trump and keep him off the campaign trail.

District Attorney Alvin Bragg has serial liar Michael Cohen as his star witness, demonstrat­ing the veracity of their case. I also expect future campaign interferen­ce trials against Trump to be forthcomin­g.
