Harvey Weinstein was transferred to Rikers Island on Monday night after correction officials caught wind of a report that he was being given cushy treatment while receiving medical care at a city hospital, a source said.

The fallen movie mogul, whose sex-crimes conviction was overturned last month, was released Monday from Bellevue Hospital’s intensive care unit, where he was on a different floor from other detainees, a source close to the Miramax co-founder told The Post.

The move came after it was reported Monday that Weinstein, 72, was treated to amenities like a phone, private bathroom and a television at the Manhattan hospital, according to The City.

Weinstein was able to watch CNN and other TV programming, as well as stay in close contact with his lawyer, Arthur Aidala, either by phone or in person, the outlet reported.

The report “set off” city correction officials and “within and hour or two of that being printed it started them contemplating how to move him and when to move him quickly,” the Weinstein source told The Post.

Weinstein was transferred to the hospital after he complained of chest pains and was diagnosed with pneumonia, according to the report, which noted his lawyers said he had a slew of health problems.
