Shirley Templeton
Shirley Joann Templeton passed away peacefully at age 78 on Jan. 18, 2013.
Shirley was born to Roberta (nee Daly) and John Bergey and was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and terRLfiF DQG ORyDO friend. She was a strong woman of faith and her kindness and sweetness always brought out the best in those close to her.
She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Leroy N.; daughter Laurie Jaye Templeton; son Michael Lee Templeton; three grandsons; sisters Phyllis Straubel, Mary Jane Gamble and Adele Ruppel; and brothers John Bergey and Richard Bergey.
Shirley was born and raised in Souderton, Pa., graduating from Lansdale High School, a nearby community. She developed strong friendships there that lasted her a lifetime, which she maintained by making annual visits to her hometown area. Besides family, she enjoyed art, antiques, entertaining and walking the beach at Coronado and near her home in hittery, Maine. She also was a great patriot, history buff and an accomplished cook. Her ever present positive attitude served her and those around her well. Shirley will be greatly missed by those who have been blessed by knowing her.
Shirley immeasurably enriched our lives. We have lost her too soon.
A visitation was held on Wednesday, Jan. 23 from 7 to 8 p.m. at Messinger Mortuary, 7601 E. Indian School Road, Scottsdale, Ariz. A memorial service will be held in Pennsylvania at a later time.

Patricia Niles, 73, formerly a longtime resident of Sellersville, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 20, 2013, in LifeQuest Nursing Center, Milford Township. She was the wife of the late Hugh S. Niles, who died in 2009.
Born in Pottsville, she was the daughter of the late sictor and May (Hendricks) Doyle. Pat was a graduate of Minersville High School. A homemaker most of her life, Mrs. Niles had also been employed in the Medical Records Department at Grand siew Hospital, West Rockhill Township, for many years,
Miriam Swartley, 97, of Goshen, Ind., died Jan. 16, 2013.
She was born Dec. 5, 1915, in Mainland, Pa., to Allen M. and Mattie hulp Landis.
