Robert Weldon Davis Jr.

Robert Weldon Davis Jr., 85, of Perkasie, died Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013, in Quakertown Center.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Robert W. Sr. and Alberta (Juliff) Davis. Bob was a truck driver for more than 30 years having driven for Lehigh salley Dairies and Miller & Son Paving, Warminster. An avid outdoorsman who enjoyed maintaining his property, Bob loved chopping wood, giving his grandkids rides on his tractor and tinkering around his home and with his cars. Bob also took tremendous pride in keeping his cars clean, but most of all, he loved his family.

Surviving are daughters Jamie Dierolf, husband Brian, of Perkasie, Nancy Rufe, husband Bob, of Hilltown, Bobbi Dorsi, husband Dennis, of Perkasie, Rebecca Davis, of Perkasie, and Brenda Linke, of Sellersville; sons Joseph Davis, wife Cynthia, of Perkasie, William Davis, companion Debra, of Perkasie, Thomas Davis, wife Cynthia, of Ft. Myers, Fla., and James Davis, of Spring Hill, Fla.; sister Alberta Hess, husband Robert, of Huntington salley; 17 grandchildren; and 12 greatgrandchildren.
