Assault With a Deadly Van
London—muslims pray in the Finsbury Park area of north London after a man drove a van into pedestrians near a mosque in the early morning on June 19. The van mowed into a group of worshippers observing the holy month of Ramadan. One man died at the scene, and at least 10 others were injured, all of them Muslim, according to police. The driver, 47-yearold Darren Osborne, was arrested. Police said they are treating the attack as an act of terrorism aimed at Muslims, making it the fourth confirmed or suspected terrorist attack in the United Kingdom in three months.
