Who we are:

Bikes For Kids, Inc., is a Northern Indiana based organization with a mission of helping children ride into a happier and healthier childhood by providing free bikes to those most in need.

Over 700 children

Have received a free bike and helmet from our charity!

What we do:

Throughout the year we collect and refurbish bikes with the help of volunteers. These bikes as well as new ones are distributed at our Annual Spring Bike Give Away and at other organized events during the year.

Why we do it:

Based on a 12% poverty level and 26% ALICE* qualified families.

Over 2,700 children

In Marshall County alone qualify for a bike and helmet from our charity.

You can help by:

• Sponsoring a child or children by purchasing a bike through our online store.

• Providing a monetary donation through our online store. Over 95% of all monetary donations go directly to supporting local children. Funds are used to purchase bikes, helmets and parts to refurbish gently used bikes.

• Donating your gently used bike(s). Looking for bikes with limited rust and requiring minimal repair.
