Proceeds go to youth for the 2018 Houston Youth Gathering. All cans will be given to the food pantry. Aug. 19 Tatting Workshop: 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. at Berks County Heritage Center, 1102 Red Bridge Road in Bern Twp. Cost is $10. Tatting- “knot” a lost art! Karen Wattai, a self-taught tatter and member of the Lace Lovers of Lebanon, has years of experience teaching this versatile art form. A comparison of threads, needles and shuttle tatting will be discussed as students learn to make rings and chains resulting in a tatted bookmark.
