Dori Hoch of Blandon recently released her latest children’s book, “The Bunny Brothers: Lost in the Woods.”

Hoch’s book is filled with colorful illustrations of the antics of Bobby and Benjamin Bunny as they go for a hike and get Lost in the Woods.

Hoch, a retired elementary teacher and reading specialist from the Fleetwood and Wilson school districts, collaborated with artist and author, Jane Wolfgang, a former elementary art teacher for Governor Mifflin and Wilson, to create books suitable for preschoolers through early elementary.

Inspired by her own experience of getting lost in the woods with her two granddaughters, Hoch adapted it for this saga. The Bunny Brothers: Lost in the Woods is a sequel to her first three books in the series, “The Easter Bunny Brothers,” “The Bunny Brothers’ First Thanksgiving” and “A Bunny Brothers’ Christmas.”

“Bobby and Benjamin find themselves in a real dilemma! Jane Wolfgang’s colorful illustrations bring these bunnies and their struggles to life,” Hoch said. In this newest story, Bobby and Benjamin Bunny go for a hike in the woods that surround their burrow. Going beyond their town sign, they become lost. With some interesting twists and a surprise visitor, the brothers work together to find their way home while learning the importance of following safety signs.
