Shout ‘Bingo!,’ support Kutztown Community Library
Participants have chance to win handbags, pottery, gift baskets, wine tastings, jewelry and more
Kutztown Community Library hosts a fundraising Bingo event on Sunday, Oct. 15 at the Kutztown Fire Company.
Round up your friends and family for an afternoon of fun and a chance at winning prizes while you help the library. Get ready to shout, “Bingo!”
Tickets can be purchased for $20 in advance at the Kutztown Community Library or $25 at the Kutztown Fire Company on the day of the event. Ticket purchase includes 20 Bingo games with six cards and a hot dog, chips, and a drink. Doors will open at 12:30 p.m. and the game begins at 2 p.m.
There are prizes to win with every game. Board members visited local merchants and artisans who gave prizes including handbags, pottery, gift baskets, gift certificates, wine tastings, jewelry, and more. It is an excellent showcase of the wares and talents of our community merchants and artisans.
Cathrine Ruhf, Board President, reports the fundraising committee, “was amazed at all the generosity. The number and value of the prizes was beyond what we imagined or hoped for.”

For more chances to win, you can purchase extra cards and try playing the special games. The jackpot prize is a Sorrelli necklace. In addition to prizes for each bingo game, there is an assortment of raffle prizes to win. There will be baked goods for sale.
