Kutztown Area Garden Club Bus Trip: June 15 trip to Bowman’s Wildflower preserve at New Hope and Pennsylvania Horticultural
Society Gardens. Cost includes bus transportation, driver’s tip, admission, taxes and water. Add $7 for a box lunch. Leave Kutztown at 9 a.m. and return 5:30 p.m. Deadline for tickets is May 20. Make checks to Kutztown Area Garden Club. Call 610-683-8684
Friends of the Kutztown Community Library Bus Trip: Tour the Philadelphia Stadiums Aug. 13. Guided, behind-the-scenes tour of Lincoln Financial Field home of the Philadelphia Eagles and Citizens Bank Park home of the Philadelphia Phillies with time to browse in gift shops, lunch at McFadden’s Restaurant & Pub. Cost includes bus fare, driver’s tip, and all admissions. Lunch is not included in the price of the trip. Leave Kutztown at 8 a.m. arrive back 6 p.m. Call 610-6835820.

Meeting: 6:30 p.m. at the Berks County Genealogical Society Library, Room 413 at the GoggleWorks, 201 Washington St., Reading. Paul Miller, author of “Blue Marsh and the Pleasant Valley - One Last Look,” will show slides of properties, including historic and vintage houses displaced by the Blue Marsh Dam project. Talk will cover Blue Marsh, Mount Pleasant, Pleasant Valley, State Hill and the Brownsville areas. Doors open at 6 p.m. Light refreshments before meeting.
