Maggie Spike performs at Half Moon Café Friday
The independent alternative folk band enjoys writing, producing, and performing several styles of music that include folk, rock, acoustic pop, traditional British Isles, jazz, and world rhythms.
Maggie Spike will be the featured entertainment at Half Moon Café at Clay on Main in Oley on Friday, Oct. 28.
Half Moon Café is Clay on Main’s music venue, an intimate listening room that was recently reopened after a two-year hiatus.
Maggie and Eric Gernerd are an acousticbased singer-songwriter duo from rural eastern Pennsylvania. The independent alternative folk band enjoys writing, producing, and performing several styles of music that include folk, rock, acoustic pop, traditional British Isles, jazz, and world rhythms.
During intermission, visit the gallery space at Clay on Main and the newly reopened gift shop featuring local artists, as well as complimentary refreshments. Park in the church. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. Admission is a $15 donation.
The Half Moon is located at 313 Main St., Oley and is part of Clay on Main Studios.
A non-profit community art center, Clay on Main’s mission is to offer artists time and space to create. The center believes art is the tool that empowers individuals and groups with diverse perspectives at all stages in their artistic journeys and connects them with each other, their community, and their own centers of confidence, intuition, and ability encouraging their growth to their highest potential.
