What’s at stake

The Wildcats look to bounce back from last week’s home loss to UCLA that knocked out of the Top 25. The Cardinal look for their fourth straight win since a season-opening loss at Northwestern.

Key matchup

Arizona D vs. Stanford RB Christian McCaffrey. McCaffrey ran for a career-high 206 yards on 30 carries in last week’s win at Oregon State. He had 303 all-purpose yards and is a matchup nightmare for opposing defenses with his versatility. The Wildcats must deal with him without All-America LB Scooby Wright, who is out with a sprained right foot.

Players to watch

Arizona: RB Nick Wilson. Wilson has three straight 100-yard rushing games and ranks seventh in the nation with 570 yards on the season. Wilson is averaging 114.4 yards rushing per game in 17 games with the Wildcats.

Stanford: LB Blake Martinez. Martinez has been the one constant on the front seven that has been hampered by injuries this season. Martinez had 12 tackles against Oregon State and has recorded double-digit tackles in all four games. He ranks third in FBS with 12.5 tackles per game.
