Toledo at Ball State: Toledo starts conference play flying high, with a pair of wins over Power Five conference teams among their three out of conference wins. The Rockets head to Indiana to take on Ball State, who currently leads the West division as the only team with a conference win thus far.

Around the MAC

Ohio at Akron: Ohio opens up conference play with some momentum, having only dropped a tough 27-24 loss to Minnesota to start their season. Akron also starts conference play, coming in on the back of a two-game winning streak, as both teams look to get out in front in the East division.

Bowling Green at Buffalo: In the conference opener for both teams, Bowling Green travels to New York fresh off their second win over a Big Ten team this season to take on a Buffalo squad still looking for consistenc­y after alternatin­g wins and losses in their first four games. The Falcons and Bulls open up the conference season looking to get a leg up in the East division.

FIU at UMass: FIU looks to get back in the win column after falling to conference foe Louisiana Tech 27-17 on the road. UMass heads home hoping to notch their first win of the season, coming off

a 62-27 road lashing at the hands of No. 6 Notre Dame.

Northern Illinois at Central

Michigan: In their conference openers, Central Michigan and Northern Illinois both come in looking to put an end to two-game losing streaks. The Chippewas hope to bounce back from a 30-10 loss at No. 2 Michigan State, while the Huskies hope to rebound from a 17-14 road loss at

Boston College.

Miami (Ohio) at Kent State: This East-division matchup features a pair of one-win teams looking to rebound from losing streaks and gain an edge in the division. In the conference opener for both teams, Miami hopes to bounce back from a 56-14 whipping at Western Kentucky, while Kent State is looking to come back from a 36-29 home loss to Marshall.
