Jami Martin joined Weichert Realtors - The Griffin Company’s Bentonville office. She is a member of the Northwest Arkansas Board of Realtors.
Rogelio Garcia Contreras, founder of the Social Entrepreneurship Program at the University of St. Thomas in Houston, was named director of social innovation at the University of Arkansas and starts Jan. 4. He holds a doctorate in international politics and development from the Josef Korbel School of International Studies at the University of Denver. He starts his new position Jan. 4. He has extensive experience as a consultant, researcher and analyst in the private and public sectors in Mexico and in the United States.
Marilyn Strickland was hired as chief operating officer of the Arkansas Foundation for Medical Care. She worked for the Arkansas Department of Human Services for almost 40 years, retiring as chief operating officer for Arkansas Medicaid in 2014.
Breck Hopkins joined the Arkansas Foundation for Medical Care as its Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act privacy officer. Hopkins spent 36 years at the Arkansas Department of Human Services and was lead Medicaid counsel, chief counsel and director of policy and legal services before retiring in 2014. He was also responsible for the state agency’s Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act privacy and security compliance for nearly two decades. He is a graduate of the University of Arkansas School of Law in Fayetteville.
Dr. Michael Moody joined the Arkansas Foundation
for Medical Care’s board of directors. He served as the group’s medical director for almost 19 years before retiring in May 2014. He actively participated through the Arkansas Medical Society in the formation of Arkansas Foundation for Medical Care in 1973.
Erin Turner Hogue was named vice president of development at the Walton Arts Center. She has more than 10 years of fundraising and strategic planning experience and is the director of foundation relations at Walton Arts Center. She was the director of development for the Division of Student Affairs at the University of Arkansas. Hogue has a bachelor’s degree from Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, master’s degree in legislative affairs from George Washington University in Washington and is
currently a Ph.D. candidate in history from the University of Arkansas.
Dr. Jon D. Loudermilk,
physician with Eureka Springs Family Medial Clinic, agreed to serve on Arvest Bank’s board of directors. He previously served on the Arvest Bank board from 1999 to 2008 as a community liaison in Eureka Springs. He studied biology at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville from 2005 to 2008, earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and theatre and dance from Southwest Missouri State University in Springfield, Mo., in 1990 and graduated from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Medicine in Little Rock in 2012. Loudermilk is a member of the American Board of Family Physicians, Arkansas Medical Society, American Association of Family Physicians and American Medical Association.
